  • So step one, towel dry to about 90% and comb. You wanna leave a little bit of water in your beard to help the product get through your beard easier, but you don’t have a ton of saturation because oil and water do not mix.
  • Step number two, add oil and comb. I’m gonna go with Honest Amish beard oil. Once you have dried that beard and combed through it then take a little bit about a half drop’s worth all and place it into your hands. Work it to the skin, especially for the night. Spend more time on applying that oil and applying it evenly.
  • The next step is a super simple step. Wait atleast five minutes. Let that oil absorb into your skin and into the pores of the hairs. What that’s gonna allow is the butter that you’re gonna add in a little bit, to be able to get into your hair and not just sit on the outside, because that oil’s completely blocking it off. So wait at least five minutes after applying beard oil.
  • Apply beard butter. Though it may get to the skin, the main purpose for beard butter or beard cream is for the hair. So come up underneath, make sure you’re getting your neck, treating that well, your neck is important for that depth and density of your beard. If you’re not treating your neck properly, you’re probably gonna end up with a thinner beard than you genetically should. So get that butter all throughout the beard, get it in there, nicely with the fingertips. Really get down into those areas where it likes to be the thickest and the densest. Comb through as you apply it. Spread out that product, get rid of any knots in this one. We’re really looking just to comb through the hair to make sure it’s all even and ready for bed.
